Description:
This is an assortment of 31 DIFFERENT paintings done by Ave Cosgriff Hurley. Included are country landscapes with hills and farms, mountains with ponds, seascapes with lighthouses,skies with sunsets and combinations of each. Born and raised in New York City, Ave Cosgriff moved to the countryside of Pennsylvania, was married and raised five children and now spends most of her time painting and illustrating scenes from both memory and imagination. "My style is romantic and colorful as I try to bring the world to you, the way I would like to see things~ such as landscapes in full bloom, brilliant sunsets and dramatic stormy seas~ This is my first published art book. I have chosen to use a calender setting which encompasses 30 months of my paintings. I hope you like each and every one. ~ Ave Cosgriff Hurley
- How would you describe your style of art?
- realism expressionistic, idealistic, romantic..... I like a full sunset with brilliant colors... I like a stormy sea in mid afternoon... I like a mountain rising in the distance.. or water pounding of the falls.... My flowers and trees blossom in unity or my snow covers all the ground completely.... my work will have colorful impact,,, :)
